SEATTLE, WA (May 2, 2019) – Bradley Whitford was announced today as moderator for the Seattle date of “An Evening with President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton,” taking place Friday, May 3rd at WAMU Theater.
Bradley Whitford, a classically trained stage actor, quickly gained overnight fame as the sarcastic yet vulnerable Josh Lyman on NBC’s The West Wing. One of the few actors working successfully and simultaneously in theater, film, and television, Whitford is one of Hollywood’s most sought-after talents. Last year, Whitford was seen in two Academy Award-nominated films; Steven Spielberg’s The Post, based on the true story about the Washington Post’s role in exposing the Pentagon Papers in 1971, alongside Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks; and the critically-acclaimed Blumhouse horror-thriller Get Out, written and directed by Jordan Peele. In addition to the Academy Awards, both films received nominations for the Golden Globes and the BFCA Choice Awards, among numerous other accolades.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear one-of-a-kind conversations with the two leaders as they tell their stories from some of the most important moments in modern history. From the American presidency to the halls of the Senate and State Department, to one of the United States’ most controversial and unpredictable presidential elections, they provide a unique perspective on the past, and remarkable insight into where we go from here.
Tickets start at $66.50 (plus fees) and are on sale now at LiveNation.com.
