2013 'No Shoes Nation' Tour will include 17 stadiums
SEATTLE, Wash. – Kenny Chesney will return to Seattle for a show at CenturyLink Field on Saturday, June 1. Tickets are on sale now at all Ticketmaster outlets, via phone at 800-745-3000, by visiting the CenturyLink Field Box Office located near the northwest entrance at 800 Occidental Avenue South, or available online here.
Tickets range from $29-$129 and access to the Sandbar, located adjacent to the stage, priced at $229.
This will be Chesney’s fourth visit to the stadium.
"I believe what we've created on the road is something special," says Chesney. "The fans, myself, the band, the crew. But it's really the fans who have given us a wonderful, unique life. What we've all built together is the 'No Shoes Nation.' There is no better name for this tour."
The Corona Light Presents Kenny Chesney's 'No Shoes Nation' Tour, starring Kenny Chesney, will feature special guest Eric Church - whose critically-acclaimed album 'Chief' was named 'Album of the Year' at the 2012 CMA Awards - as well as Eli Young Band and Kacey Musgraves.
'No Shoes Nation' marks 20 years of touring for Chesney, who Billboard declares is "The biggest ticket seller in country music and among the elite touring artists in the world," and comes on the heels of his wildly successful 2012 'Brothers of the Sun' Tour, which blew away more than 1.1 million fans across the country - his 10th consecutive tour to hit that ticket sale milestone.
Kenny Chesney is once again teaming up with CID Entertainment to offer very special VIP packages for the 2013 tour. Guests will choose from either Sandbar or Premium Reserved seating and have access to the pre-game tailgate party featuring a buffet of Kenny's favorite food, drinks and music. New to this year's program is an exclusive VIP only entrance and exit for the Sandbar as well as new gift items including a Kenny Chesney "Coach's Hoodie", an exclusive stadium seat cushion and more. Renton, Wash. -- The Seattle Seahawks and Sounders FC announced today that new video boards have been installed in the end zones of CenturyLink Field. A Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Vision® ODX8 screen has been installed at the north end and a Mitsubishi Electric ODT10 Surface Mounted Device (SMD) display has been installed in the south end of the stadium. Mitsubishi Electric Power Products' Diamond Vision Systems Division is the first to bring SMD technology to the NFL market.
"Seahawks and Sounders FC fans will see enhanced clarity and color on the new Mitsubishi video boards at CenturyLink Field," said Seahawks and Sounders FC president Peter McLoughlin. "The upgrade in technology reinforces our commitment to provide the best possible game day experience and amenities for our fans."
The new video boards will give fans and event attendees a level of Diamond Vision large-scale display technology that has long been used to create higher pixel density than traditional LED lamps. The result is sharper, crisper images. It will be the highest pixel density display installed in the NFL stadium market. The new video boards are the same size and layout as the previous boards: in the north end, approximately 44 feet wide by 50 feet high and in the south end, approximately 84 feet wide by 24 feet high.
"Mitsubishi Electric Power Products' Diamond Vision is again part of another industry first, and our advanced LED products are fulfilling the vision that the Seattle Seahawks and Sounders FC have for their stadium and fans," said Todd Stih, Diamond Vision national sales manager.
The Seahawks and Sounders FC also became one of the first professional teams to feature a 16mm outdoor surface mount Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Vision LED display at field level. The three-foot tall LED array surrounds approximately 460 feet of the field perimeter, including one sideline and both endlines.
The LED array features sponsor graphics, statistical templates and team animations; it is operated through CenturyLink Field's existing VisionSOFT system, which currently controls the stadium's LED fascia displays during Seattle Seahawks home games and other live events. The patent-pending VisionSOFT interface will enable the field perimeter signage and the existing fascia system to instantaneously synchronize, delivering single uncompressed images or multiple graphics throughout the stadium.
For more information, visit the team websites or CenturyLinkField.com.
